SEAT RESERVATION & OCCUPANCY

The goal of this subsystem is to show to the passengers the reservation status of the seats.
In order for the system to use the seat reservation information, the PIS Controller must have been activated on a specific travel mission.
The reservation information is sent to the on-board system by the ground system to collect them by an external system. For each couple of stop stations along the journey, information about a specific free or a reserved seat in that segment is available. If the seat is reserved, the system gets information about both the name of the first station where this seat has been reserved and the name of the station where the reservation will be finished.
The SRS controller addresses each single seat reservation display, showing right information related to the corresponding seat.
