OSCaR<\/strong>\u00a0is a gsm-r dispatcher dedicated to Railway Operators, allowing GSM-R Communication between Railway Operating Rooms and Train Cab Radio or Train Staff handhelds. It is based on innovative standard technologies, like Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and ETSI TS 103 389.
The dispatcher is equipped with a GSM-R modem and an ethernet connection and represents a compact solution which can be used in standalone operation as a mobile equipment or be interfaced on IP networks in a standard VoIP solution.
It implements the most advanced GSM-R standard requirements like ASCI and EIRENE features.The user has the possibility to use a telephone handset or gooseneck microphone and integrated loudspeakers for hands-free usage. A TFT LCD display with PCAP touchscreen allows – interaction with the user on an extremely flexible and configurable User Interface. Integrated WiFi\/Bluetooth connectivity is available for maintenance and application extended features. SERVER VoIP\u00a0GSM-R<\/strong>\u00a0is a solution dedicated to Railway Operators, allowing GSM-R Communication between Railway Operating Rooms and Train Cab Radio or Train Staff handhelds. It is based on innovative standard technologies (Session Initiation Protocol and ETSI TS 103 389 standard) and it is natively equipped with 4 GSM-R modems to act as a VoIP GW to GSM-R network by managing multiple calls. It implements the most advanced GSM-R standard requirements like ASCI and EIRENE features, thus combining all the capabilities of a PBX VoIP-based system with the specific functions of the Railway GSM-R network.
The user interacts with the Server via web interface that is not bound to any specific Operating System: the user equipment (PC, tablet, smartphone or dedicated console) only needs a web browser with HTML5 support.
